Riki worked on the 2017 remount of Synetic Theater's 2012 hit, Taming of the Shrew as multimedia content and projection designer, using the 2012 designs as a base.
"Synetic traditionally handles Shakespeare with movement and no words, and the language of “Shrew” is a parade of pique and fashion as adaptor-director Paata Tsikurishvili sets the story in a tabloid-mad Hollywood (or “Paduawood,” as Tinseltown is styled in this version). ... It’s a colorful, entertaining adaptation that clicks along at a remarkable pace — a real gallop through Shakespeare’s plot, presided over with muscular prowess by the impish Sellers and an ultimately touched Tsikurishvili."
