I'm looking forward to my first full bronze piece for a private commission, "Trust." I will be heading to the foundry on the 31st to work on the final touches and chisel a marble base to be shipped across the country to its new home.
This sculpture has been fabricated in three parts: The two delicate figures, the cliff, and the marble base to balance. The two figure has was sculpted in wax. This allows me to skip the rubber mold process and get the figures directed casted, making it the only piece in the world. : ) A basic structure was fabricated by lumber pieces and sculpted with light spackling material using various tools. This was a quick turnaround project, entire process taking just a little over 2 months with the generous understanding by Bronze Craft Foundry.
The final piece will be treated and patina-ed to match the design rendering on the work sample page. Can't wait for the client to receive his unique piece of art!
